GCSE Results

Last September in my first assembly to the school I talked about the great GCSE results achieved by last year’s Year 11, and set this year’s group the challenge to beat that standard…
The news is that they did not just beat last year’s best ever results, they smashed it!
46% of all the results were grades 9 – 7 (or in old money, A* – A) with 95% of all grades being a pass (4 or C). That is 8% higher than last year’s results!

What an amazing achievement by every pupil in Year 11! It was so good to see so many happy faces this morning as they opened the envelopes, some with trepidation, but as it turned out , they need not have worried. Every pupil achieved the grades they needed to go to the school they want for their A Levels. How fabulous is that!!

Their hard work over their time at Hall School Wimbledon has brought them the success they deserve and we wish them all the very best in their future studies, and hope to see as many of them as possible at the certificate presentation ceremony on 14th November.
