The Year 9s went on a field trip to PGL in Osmington Bay, Dorset from 17th to 21st June. We had a wonderful week by the seaside and the children were challenged with a packed timetable of activities. PGL have access to the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy and we made sure we took full advantage of the first rate facilities at the centre. Fun was had on the waves over the week with kayaking, dragon boating and raft building. Back at the centre children enjoyed getting to grips with a variety of different activities including: climbing, abseiling, sensory trail, giant swing (not for the feint hearted), zip wire, quad biking and Jacob’s ladder. After each full day and a hearty meal, children then took part in team building exercises, spent time on the beach or enjoyed each others company at ‘Little Wembley’, a football pitch made of sand.
